Ethos Atlanta Academy is a premier academic enrichment program for Encounter Church Atlanta members, offering a rigorous STEAM and Humanities curriculum. With small group class sizes and a strong commitment to improving literacy, we provide a personalized education that empowers students to excel globally and rank in the top 5%—a proven approach that enhances academic outcomes and fosters deeper student engagement.

  • Close the Literacy Gap for Underserved Black Students – We aim to significantly improve literacy outcomes by offering targeted instruction and resources, ensuring that our students are academically competitive with their peers.
  • Foster Innovation and Critical Thinking through STEAM Education – By integrating STEAM into our curriculum, we cultivate creative problem-solving and analytical skills, preparing students for success in future careers and global leadership.
Some of our key initiatives include:
  • Summer Literacy Intensive – A focused summer program designed to close the literacy gap by offering targeted reading and writing instruction, interactive workshops, and engaging activities to boost student proficiency and confidence in literacy.
  • STEAM Innovation Labs – A hands-on, exploratory program where students engage in projects across science, technology, engineering, arts, and math, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and real-world application of STEAM concepts.
  • Grant Funding for Program Expansion – A dedicated initiative to secure external funding through grants to expand Ethos’s reach, enhance resources, and sustain our innovative programs, ensuring long-term academic success for our students.
