What does being saved mean (salvation)?
The breaking free of every spiritual and eternal bondage of sin. This type of freeing or deliverance is released immediately by God to those who accept His conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus.

Scripture References
Salvation
We believe the only way to receive salvation is through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Bible provides several scriptures that explain salvation through Jesus Christ.
Acts 4:12 (NIV)
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
Reading the Bible
We believe the word of God is our infallible truth. As believers, we believe the word of God is the tool necessary to navigate through everyday life. The Bible says that we should meditate on the word daily.
Joshua 1:8 (NLT)
Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.
Fellowship with Believers
We believe in the gathering of fellowship in the church. The Body of Christ consists of believers journeying with Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:12–13 (ESV)
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit
What happens after salvation? (Connecting to a Local Body)
You build your relationship with God by reading the Bible, connecting with a local church, and prayer. By reading the word and connecting with a local body for discipleship, your mind is being transformed. As a member of the Body of Christ, you also have the opportunity to fellowship with other believers.
Romans 12: 1-2 (NLT Version)
1. “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
