24 Hours – Time to Decide

How To Manage Your Time

How well do you manage your time? Time is the most valuable asset, and people who manage time well are successful. Managing your time takes discipline. You must account for every minute of your day. It is not God’s responsibility to manage your time, it’s yours. Do not allow people, places, and things to devalue your time.

Start Managing Your Time

1. Learn How to Schedule Your Life. Everything can be done if properly scheduled. You need a plan to do the necessities of life. Many people plan only the 8 hours of the day which is just the work, but what do you do with the 24 hours. Learn to manage time or time will manage you.

You do not have time for frivolous conversations. You cannot afford to be in consistent situations where you lose track of time. Learn to defeat procrastination. Procrastination causes stagnation. Deal with your inability and lack of discipline to get things done today.

2. Stay on the Offense. Do not let others control your time. People who do not have control over their time will dictate your time. You have to put boundaries in place. If you don’t dictate your time, you will not be successful.

No one is excellent at the last minute. Anything that was chaotic from the inception, but turned out good, was just grace. Living off grace will keep you broke. Grace is what you use after you prepare and plan your life.

3. Stop Focusing on the Outcome. Many people are performance-based. As long as it looks good, they think they have achieved something. Focusing on the in between and not just the outcome, allows for overall improvement and productivity.

What is value? What makes you valuable?

Value is the importance to which something is held. Add value to yourself or life and people will impose their value on you.

How do I add value to my life?

  • Be Disciplined – Disciplined people follow through. They have a routine and a regimen. You can not live life spontaneously.
  • Develop Skill – What skills do you have? People will only pay for your level of skill. Skills will put you in demand. No one will call you if they don’t know that you are skilled. What can you offer? People value skill. If you stop performing, you will be replaced.
  • Work on Character – your value is not bigger than your character. The Bible says a good name is better than rubies. Proverbs 22:1
  • Be Practical – Consider the methodology to achieve. Can you take something small and make it big? Do you finish what you start? Everywhere you go, you should be producing.
  • Value Relationships – Success is about relationships. When you find the right friendship and partnerships, keep them. Become a great steward of relationships. covenant keep it. Steward relationships well.

Are you ready to take control of your time? Say this prayer with us:

Lord, I come before you with gratitude for the gift of time. Grant me the wisdom to prioritize my responsibilities and use each moment for your glory. Help me to discern between what is urgent and what is important, and guide me in making choices that align with your will. May your grace be my strength as I navigate the demands of each day, and may I find peace in surrendering my schedule to your divine plan. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen
